Powder coating is a technology of applying paint to a powder part consisting of resin, pigments, and various additives that affect the uniformity of the coating and the creation of the film. Powder particles are held by electrostatic gravity, and under the influence of high temperature they melt, forming a single coating.
This method helps to improve the appearance of structures, so powder coating of metals is in demand in various fields of production.

POWDER PAINT METAL PAINTING TECHNOLOGY

The main feature of the process is the spraying of small particles that are charged by friction force or an external source that supplies electricity. An electric field is formed and negative charges attract particles to the metal. Elements that have not settled are caught by a special mechanism and then reused. When the part is completely covered with dye, it is sent to the oven. Painting with powder paint consists of three stages, during which the particles become viscous- flowing, forming a monolithic layer. The final stage will be the coating from above with a polymer, after its solidification smooth surfaces are formed.

The range of application of this method is quite wide, because it helps to improve electrical insulation and provides anti-coronavirus protection.
